Laproscopic probe added to Ethiroli Tiny 16a

A laproscopic transducer has been added to Ethirol Tiny 16a. This probe is side firing, has a dia of 12mm and fits into laproscopic tube. With a centre frequecy of 7.5MHz is well suited for high resolution imaging during laprascopic surgery.

Surabi is working on a 3D transducer and plans to launch it in Q3 2008. This will be the first time in the industry where a real time 3D probe is available with a 16 channel architecture.

Surabi has been the industry’s first to offer colour doppler in 16 channel architecture. Real time 3D in Ethiroli 16a will further narrow the divide between “high end features” and would enable tertiary and secondary care centres to do 3D scans for their patients.
